Intercultural Networking

Intercultural Networking

This year, the Intercultural Networking Day took place on July 7, with 10 different countries represented by migrants and refugees.

The intercultural program was organized by the refugee coordinator Ms. Georginah Rehema Nussbaumer from the municipality of Rengsdorf-Waldbreitbach.

This event provided an opportunity to break down prejudices and raise awareness of migrants' contribution to society, including cultural and social areas, which benefit both their country of origin and their destination country.
Guests supporting the event included local Mayor Carmen Boden and volunteers from various organizations.
The International Womens Movement (INWOMO) was among the active volunteers who were on hand to support the event by encouraging and leading new ideas of mixing and co-creation without any discrimination.

The event included music, children's games and the presentation of various baked foods from different countries.
The intercultural networking event was well attended with around 90 visitors and was very impressive and harmonious.
